Each year, the Global Ghana Youth Network relies on your generosity to give children the opportunity to have an education. We cannot maintain either facilities or our support for these wonderful students without your help. 





o $10 will provide a school uniform for a child. 
o $10 will buy a pair of shoes for a child. 
o $15 would buy a backpack for a child. 
o $70 will buy school textbooks and exercise books for a year, depending on the grade, as well as writing materials. 
o $75 would provide food for one student for a month. 
o $900 will provide clean water to cook with so that we can provide healthy meals and drinking water for the children as well as a place to brush their teeth, wash their clothes, and learn good hygiene. 
o $900 will provide the building with electricity. Currently, the office in Pakostand is without electricity for its administrative tasks and volunteer housing. It will also provide energy to run the well pump for clean water. 
o $1380 will sponsor one child for a year. This includes breakfast and lunch in school, about $225, as well as transportation to school and home, $30. Each year, a student also needs a uniform, shoes, a backpack, and books. Private schools, which have higher quality instruction, have early fees of about $75 per child. 


When you sponsor a child, you will receive updates about his or her education.
